Voter Registration
Due to the Pandemic the normal practice of Membership Ratification Meetings has been suspended, and, in accordance with the PWU Constitution, Article 24, ballots will be sent and collected electronically.
The balloting software utilized by the PWU contains the following security:
- Anonymous Voting – All voting choices are confidential and cannot be linked to the voter for elections. Results are hidden until the election ends for further anonymity.
- Voter Security – Personal voting keys are created and used only once using 256-bit encryption – the same as major banks.
- Election Audit – Voter Ballots and results are observable and auditable to verify votes are correctly cast and avoid election fraud.
To make sure you get a vote on the OPG Proposal the PWU requires your email address. Please complete the Voter Registration below to ensure you receive your ballot.
This Voter Registration must be completed in order to receive your ballot.
A personal email address is preferred. If you do not have a personal email address your work email address will be accepted.
Voter lists will be finalized on January 6, 2021 and ballots will be emailed to your designated email address on January 12, 2021. Ballots will be counted on January 27, 2021.
