Once again, the Power Workers’ Union (PWU) will be participating in the Toronto Labour Day Parade on Monday, September 2, 2019.Last year, approximately 600 PWU members and their families participated amongst 25,000 proud Union members. The PWU will be accompanied along the parade route by the Afropan steelpan band.
The Toronto Labour Day Parade is a historic Canadian tradition where unionized workers celebrate their strength and solidarity.
The first 600 PWU members and their immediate families who register for the parade will receive a specially designed Canadian made PWU Labour Day t-shirt and hat and lunch money ($10/person).
All participants receive free admission into the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) once the parade is over. There, you and the family can take in all of the attractions of the CNE including the 70th annual Canadian International Air Show.
